AJ Jenkins
Assistant Project Manager

AJ holds a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned a certificate in Real Estate Development and Design. Her graduate research focused on affordable housing, specifically the impact of expiring subsidies in Philadelphia and the broader implications for housing affordability. AJ’s undergraduate degree is from Lasalle University.
AJ's career began in the social work sector, where she developed a deep commitment to ensuring access to safe and healthy housing. This passion led her to transition into real estate, where she spent six years as a realtor, closing on the sale of over $12 million in real estate assets. While she loved working closely with individuals and families to find homes, she wanted to make a broader impact, prompting her to return to school and pursue a career in urban planning.
Motivated by her passion for housing policy and her love of working with people, AJ joined Diamond and Associates to contribute to projects that expand access to secure and affordable housing. In her free time, AJ enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, and finding creative ways to engage with the world around her.
